You were turning left from Cresford Road into Bagley's Lane. GSV shows that the signs are visible as you get to the turn : -

On the other hand, it was night, and the signs are not illuminated, and probably would not be lit by your car headlights because they are so high up. It's not possible to see if there is any warning sign on Cresford Road, because GSV is too out-of-date, (May 2015): -

The other thing is that the sign allows "access". So please tell us where you were going.

Thanks for your reply. I am unsure what do you mean by "please tell us where you were going"? Sorry.

If I understood your question correctly, I trying to find parking, as I was going to to Beit El Zaytoun on 24A New Kings Rd, SW6 4SA. It's a restaurant.

I ended up finding parking Ringo Location: 17730 which is on Granville Pl, near Dan Leno Walk according to Google Maps

Hi, received a PCN today  :( hope you can help me please

I have read this person's case on the same road HERE but I was coming the other way.

I don't know the area and was looking for parking to go to a restaurant.

This is my draft Grounds for Representation - selecting THE PENALTY EXCEEDS THE AMOUNT APPLICABLE IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE CASE:

Dear Sir/Madam

I kindly request that you consider my case for discretion, as I was unaware of the restrictions in the area. I am not local to the borough and was visiting the area to go to the restaurant Beit El Zaytoun on 24A New Kings Rd, and so was accessing a local facility and not using the route as a cut-through.

At the time, I did not see any signs indicating the restrictions. Had I been aware of the restrictions or seen clear signage, I would have avoided entering Bagleys Lane entirely. Additionally, I did not take a shortcut to avoid traffic.

This is my first PCN for this area and road, and I sincerely apologise for this inadvertent mistake. I assure you that I had no intention of violating any restrictions and understand the importance of adhering to all local traffic regulations.
