This is a live case as I've been issued a NIP for doing 79 in a 70. I've looked at the calibration records, and they are done in AU! I would have assumed that they would have been recalibrated after being shipped halfway around the world and then installed.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some insights regarding the calibration of Redflex HADECS3X speed cameras, specifically whether anyone has experience or knowledge about the calibration process for these models.

I’ve come across a calibration certificate that states the camera was calibrated in Australia, but I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed that the system may have been shipped to the UK without being recalibrated locally after installation.

It seems like there could be a potential issue where the cameras are calibrated in Australia and then simply installed in the UK without being checked or recalibrated for the specific UK conditions. Does anyone know if this is standard practice, or if there are any concerns about the system’s accuracy as a result?

Any experiences, insights, or information would be much appreciated!
