Hi there, apologies for lack of response but was waiting till I could get additional photos to show the situation accurately. It is pretty clear there is a sizeable gap, but there are double yellows either side. I would really appreciate if someone could confirm if worth an appeal? Thanks again

Hi there, I would appreciate if anyone could help here. In Glasgow City Centre, there is a street where the double yellow lines have a gap between them of just over a car length. It has been that way for at least a year (I think the day the lines were painted there was a vehicle there) and lots of people have parked there previously (including me on occasion) and I have never seen anyone get a ticket. However, I parked there last week and got a ticket but am considering an appeal. Any thoughts? Have added photos and can provide any relevant info. Thanks in advance.
