On the POPLA system it never got past the issuer evidence, so I'm assuming they knew they wouldn't win and avoided the bother?

I realise this reply is a little late, but wanted to share the notice was cancelled after I appealed with POPLA!

I gave evidence on serveral front, including the Airport Bylaws, lack of signage both in and around the McDonalds requiring validation, and a few other bits. Not sure is any of the other stuff helped, but in any case thank you for you help in this thread and hopefully anyone else having to deal with this location can have the same result =]

Thank you for the advice and appeal reccomendation, I have submitted the appeal and will respond when I have had an update =]

I have recieved a "Notice to Keeper" letter from MET Parking Services for "Failure to Validate".

To my knowledge the driver and passenger ordered food, and upon pickup were not given the opportunity to validate thier ticket.
When leaving the carpark they entered the ticket several times into the machine and after a time the gate opened.
(A copy of the passengers bank statement showing a purchase was made exists, as a reciept was not held onto)

I saw in a previous post about this carpark that people have had the notice dropped, it makes mention of several potential reasons as to why they dropped the claim (
My question is what are peoples reccomendation, as the vehicle keeper should I put forward an appeal with MET using this post as a guide?

Thank you for any and all help!
