..... The V5 is with motability but on checking my details, they do have my correct address as I notified them prior to moving.

So it's your position that you informed Motability of your new address in November 2023 or shortly thereafter and in any event that was before the dates of the three alleged contraventions?

It certainly helps your case if you have evidence to show that you informed Motability promptly of your change of address. That would mean that Motability failed to update the fleet record with the DVLA.

How did you check your details with Motability? And might it be that you informed Motability of your new address after March 2024? When exactly did you inform Motability of the change of address, you would have received an email acknowledgement.

I'm not being negative or difficult. I'm merely trying to establish all of the facts that brought you here.

Yes I definitely remember changing address prior to moving so pre 2024

Can you please send them again, both sides, and readable? Those are very poor quality and unreadable. All you redact is your name and address, leave the registration plate.

Hey, I had to upload these elsewhere as it kept telling me my file size was too big. Please note on back of letter it says contact by 21st I was away in Scotland and didn’t even know of the letters until my return yesterday.

You've mentioned driving a Motability car.

If so you can request a copy of the V5c for the Motability car using the form here or by logging into your online account.

These days they'll probably email a copy of the electronic DVLA registration record rather than a photocopy the original V5c. And the email will be a lot quicker.

As suggested earlier I strongly suspect that you didn't update your address with Motability in 2023. So all of the statutory notices have been posted to an out of date address.

Motability always keep the V5c original however the notices won't have gone directly to Motability. The DVLA will have your original name and address suffixed with Motability's fleet number. That's the address you supplied when the car was registered.

Please post up the three Notices of Enforcement that you have received.

Hi, I’ve removed my address and registration for obvious reasons but here’s the 3 letters …

maybe sent to my old address, but the contravention occurred in March 2024 and I've been at my new address since November 2023?!)
So who has the V5C Registration Certificate for the vehicle ? If you have it, check the address on it, because that is where all the statutory documents are sent. If Motobility hold the V5C, did you tell them of you change of address back in November 2023.

Most cases we see on here where bailiffs are "at the door", are due to the OP not updating their V5 when they move address.

Hi sorry for the late reply, been stressing myself like mad. The V5 is with motability but on checking my details, they do have my correct address as I notified them prior to moving.

Hi all,

Just returned back home to Swansea S.Wales to 3x notices of enforcement for allegedly driving a prohibited motor vehicle (car) down a road called crystal glen in Cardiff which apparently non locals aren't allowed to drive on without being fined!!
I'd never heard of this contravention before receiving this notice of enforcement and never received any prior correspondence (maybe sent to my old address, but the contravention occurred in March 2024 and I've been at my new address since November 2023?!) nor did I have any clue whatsoever about this ridiculously crazy rule about crystal glen!!

Please help what can I do to challenge this, will TEC even give a damn, how can I prove i didn't receive there original PCN's if the council tell me they sent them then that's game over right?!

I'm freaking out here over bailiff visits, l've seen on Youtube them attending with the police, I have autism, I'm disabled it's a motability vehicle and I was picking up my sister to take her to Costco who lives near this stupid road! Now I'm potentially going lose everything over 3 lots of £190 (plus eventual bailiff charges!)
