Here are some more photos including the one I just took today with red car on the same spot to show the road conditions.

Is it worth appealing this PCN

So I was in a bit of rush and couldn't find any parking in the street. I have previously seen other cars and vans park at this spot which I have marked it as red. And I have seen them there all day long. I parked where this read box is right after the lamp post and there was another car in front of me on the pavement. I ensured that my car is parked in a way that it easily leaves plenty of space on both sides for any pedestrians, wheelchair users, prams etc. so they can still be on pavement and I'm not obstructing their path. When I came back I had a PCN and so did the other car in front of me. I have not really seen any other cars get it who park there for whole day so I thought I should be fine too. Now I am wondering if it's worth challenging the PCN mainly because the PCN states "By Civil Enforcement Officer... who had reason to believe that the following contravention had occurred and that a penalty charge is now payable: 01 Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours" This is in Manchester and that street doesn't have any restriction signage anywhere in this street. Would appreciate any help! Never had one before so not sure what's the right thing to do here. It feels like PCN issued is not really the correct one. Yellow lines where I parked are also faded as can be seen in the image too.

Edit: I have uploaded the Images of both sides of PCN now and one image from Council too. I cant add more to post so will try to add the rest in replies.

Also the GSV link for the location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/UFNa38JvxqQuN1je7
