That said, what is the error? E,g. is it 0/O or 1/I?
I've attached what online record which is has wrong reg number EA21. (correct one is EA71).

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the PCN ticket was damaged in the wash, but I still have the reference number. I’ve checked the details online, and I noticed that the registration number listed is incorrect. It shows EA21. instead of EA71.

As part of my appeal, should I base it solely on the incorrect registration number, or should I also explain that I was genuinely loading and locked my van due to the high theft/crime area?

I parked my van in a designated loading bay while I briefly went into my shop to drop off my items. Due to the high-theft area, I locked my van for security. However, I received a parking ticket stating that I was improperly parked, which is not the case.

Additionally, the registration number recorded on the PCN is incorrect. Given these issues, I believe I have grounds to appeal the ticket. Could you please advise if this is a valid reason for an appeal?
