We need to see PCN Number and car registration so we can view the videos, so please unredact them. Two PN a day apart, so the question has to be, does your wife understand what the "Flying Motorbike" signs mean ? Rather too many motorists seem not to. Other puzzling thing is a virtual tootle down to the end of the street shows turning round is even more difficult than by the leisure centre gate.

We also need to see the restriction signs, to see if there are times etc below the restriction symbol, but so far I don't see a robust case building up.

Hi there, Thanks for your response.

I have attached the 2 videos - they are very short as they cut off 2 seconds after entering.

Yeah you are right she does not understand the flying motorbike signs and also had seen few other cars going down the same road but obviously they probably have specific permits.

Restriction sign

Parallel Road Works sign - seems like directing cars to the next available road, the T-road ?

Hi all,

So my wife managed to get 2 x PCN in the same location in consecutive days.
She is not the smartest of drivers even though there are signs on both sides of the road stating the restrictions, now i need to see if i can make a valid representation.
Normally she parks in the Leisure Centre car park (the immediate left entry path before the restriction signs start) but the gate was closed in both occasions.
Her excuse is she found it difficult to reverse back on one of the occasions as cars were behind her, and the only way was to continue going forward and turn around at the end of the T-road.

I have attached links to both sets of PCN details. Also the online video clips cut off as soon as she passes the road sign for restrictions, so you cannot see what further actions she took with the car.

Grateful for any advice that can be given.

Amazing, sounds like you have experience with these non compliant companies! I will give this a go and keep you posted on this thread with their response. Thanks again.

I have only a couple of days to respond to this PCN !

Basically the situation is i had an Ikea order which was at the pickup location of the "Shift" locker collection point within the Waltham Forest Feel Good centre.

One of the messages from Shift states "This site uses an ANPR camera system, with a 15-Minute grace period. If you expect your collection to take longer than this, You'll need to pay £1.20 per hour for the additional time"

It was a big order and first time collecting and trying to figure out locker opening method, so unfortunately it took around 21 minutes in total.

I came home and thought that i was not parked in the main carpark for visitors to the centre as i went down a separate car path which had a sign saying "staff", so presumed there was a chance Swift got it wrong in their message.

At the same time i went onto the Gemini parking solutions website to see if i had any outstanding fee to pay, but there was no way of checking or paying, only a Pay PCN section.

Would be good to know if i have any valid reasons to get the PCN cancelled, i have attached the PCN photos.

Hello all, New year.. New PCN.

So on New Years day, i for some strange reason thought parking restrictions were lifted. Lots of cars parked on that stretch of road and no street signs on that side of the road.
Parked on single yellow line and got a PCN, just checking with you guys if there is an any errors or issues on the PCN which would make this PCN void ?

Also attaching the evidence photos taken by the Enforcement Officer.

Hi, sorry for the late response. I attach a copy of the email receipt after i submitted my representation.

PCN Representation Submission

I kept it to " I believe the contravention did not occur due to de minimis of 3,5 to 4 seconds"

Hello, Sorry i think we may have got our wires crossed, so apologies if my previous information was confusing.
I received the official Notice of Rejection of representation letter a couple of days ago. I would be grateful if you can provide any advice on what further action i need to take.

@DolbyAtmos. Please explain what has happened here e.g. if you have made representations, has a Notice of Rejection been received? Also, if you have, please regularly update the thread.

Hi Hippocrates,

So i have made the representation online on 24th September 2024 about the De minimis 4 seconds , no Notice of Rejection received as of yet, will check post today if anything comes through.

Thank you for all your responses, i am going to try and get some photos of the signage this evening.

Sorry i apologise for my lack of knowledge but i am struggling with a couple of the terms used in your replies. What is NtK and NtD ?

Also if i fight it all the way do i still get an option to pay the original £60 fine or it gets more complicated with DCB legal ?

So i got myself a PCN from CPM through the post.
Back story is i was dropping off reception child to school and running late. Decided to quickly park in the car park for a few mins but no bays available. So i parked in a way which would not obstruct other cars but it was not in a marked bay.
School is 20 seconds walk from where i parked and school gate closes at 8.30am, so i was away from the car for 2- 3 mins. Literally just to see him into the school gate.
I see parents always dropping kids off from this car park but i tend not to use it as exiting can take a lot of time due to queue of cars and it being a one way system to get out.
Any thoughts if if it worth me appealing this fine ?

Please go through the screens and screenshot the grounds. This one limits to one ground which contradicts the PCN and law.

I will check some cases re this place.

Please see the screen shots when i go onto the website to challenge the PCN. I think the last screenshot is the important one with the grounds.
