Civil penalty charge notices (Councils, TFL and so on) / 52M Failing to comply with a prohibition, Station Parade, Barking

Hi everyone,
I too have been caught out on Station Parade in Barking, twice in the same day.
Once at 10.00am and a second time at 15.22 pm on 20/02/2025.
I am a pretty careful when it comes to driving in new places, it was my first time in Barking and I was dropping off and pick up a loved one off at the station due to their arranged transport being cancelled.
I did not see any prohibition signs on the approach road where you must turn left onto Station Parade and as I have seen in various comments the sign once on Station Parade is rather obscured.
Am I correct in understanding that U turns are prohibited on Station Parade?
I got two PCNs today and want to gather as much information as possible before making a representation for both.
Your help would be much appreciated.
Just for the record, I am disabled with limited mobility and have a Blue badge.
Thank you so much in advance.
