Private parking tickets / Parking fine at QE hospital

As a blue badge holder, when parking at QE hospital, Woolwich, you are required to enter your reg no.each time you park.
I forgot to do this and have now received a fine from an enforcement office. I co tacked Wise Parking by email, attaching a copy of my badge. The cost has escalated from £60 to £257, over time.
I called and explained that blue badge holders do not need to pay for parking if the badge is registered on the computer. The lady on the phone insisted that blue badge holders must pay.
This is not true, as I attend the hospital regularly, register my number on the computer and have never been asked to pay anything. This time I had forgotten to resister.
Can they legally force me to pay the fine?
