Hi, so the driver took my disabled daughter to my local hospital as she couldn’t weight bare on one of her hips, she’s 10 year old with none verbal autism for reference, the doctor sent the driver to the treliske hospital to see the paediatrician at a referral only unit, now this unit is at the furthest point from the main carpark, my daughter has a mobility car with blue badge, all the blue spaces were taken, literally 4 and no normal ones at this unit, so the driver parked on double yellows, the driver wasn’t an obstruction and put the badge up, because my daughter couldn’t walk the driver had to carry her, the driver is not very big and she heavy, so parking in the main carpark wasn’t an option, the driver came out after 3 hours to a ticket on the drivers car citing the driver had parked on double yellows, does the driver have any recourse with this please?
