If I contact the temple can they do anything to cancel the fine? I know that it applies to private parking tickets but for council I guess we can't use this option? I have to pay £80 within the window otherwise goes to £160 so just wanted to know if i have any other options.  Thanks for your help everyone

I don’t have a disability but my mum does who was with me at the time-  I don’t have a blue badge yet though I’m planning to apply for one - my mum has arthritis in her knees which means it’s painful for her to walk - can support this with medical evidence if needed.

The other bays were taken as it was evening prayer time , so there weren’t any other options unfortunately :-(

Hello everyone, unfortunately I have got a pan for £80 for parking with wheels partially on pavement.

1. This was at night time, over a single yellow line
2. The only reason I had to park slightly over the pavement was due to the fact the road was narrow so I didn’t want to block cars from being able to enter
3. There was plenty of space for pedestrians to walk on the pavement and I have parked here before and never had any issues at 10pm outside the temple (yes I went to pray hence the reason for parking there)

Is there any way out of this?

Images of pcn uploading shortly - the imgur website seems to be not available, is there any alternative I can use? I don’t see the embed image option in my view either.

Hi everyone today is the last day for me to pay the reduced amount £65 - I'm not sure if it's possible to appeal or not and I've not seen  any replies to indicate if I have any options, so I'm planning to pay this today. Thank you for creating this forum and helping motorists save money - unfortunately for me, I have limited time so I don't want to take a risk and wait further. If anything can be done do let me know for next time. :-)

@Hippocrates- I have uploaded back of PCN as well - I only got 1 sheet in the post.

Hi everyone I have 2 days left before the reduced amount offer of £65 expires so just wanted to check if you need anything further information from me. I understand these things take time to look into so just wanted to make sure I wasn't holding things up.

Omg  :-[

I didn't see these - I was so busy trying to find the address on my phone

Is there anything I can do in this instance?

Technically I did 3 point turn and then took a left though...it wasn't a full u-turn or a right turn ...

I've updated my post - hopefully I didn't miss anything

Hi everyone I was referred here from MSE forum as I have a PCN from Harrow Council for making a right turn in the middle of the road.

I was trying to find the entrance to a new development and was unable to find parking (only realised later that it's a car free development hence no parking) anyway I was turning into a side road to check the map as there was nowhere to stop temporarily in the main road -

I made a 3 point turn and then turned left into the side road - so does this still count as making a right turn offence? In addition I didn't realise it was no right turn as I didn't go as far as the traffic lights which is where the sign probably was. I will add the google maps link shortly. Please let me know if there is anything I've missed, this is my 1st time posting on here. I have 14 days from the PCN date of 5th February to pay reduced amount £65 - so another 5 days left to pay the reduced amount.
