I emailed Derbyshire CREST this morning and three hours later I received a response stating that the second notice has been cancelled!

I have received two separate NIPs, referring to images from two pairs of average speed cameras time-stamped seven minutes apart, on the same stretch of motorway at immediately consecutive locations on the M1.

Would it be possible to get the second NIP struck-out?

How should I respond to both NIPs?

I have just found this post via Google after being unable to find the former forums.

Hopefully my lifetime subscription to that community will still be put to good use.

No doubt, I will be posting on these boards requesting guidance again soon.
