Private parking tickets / Claim form received from parkingeye ltd

I received a claim form for overstaying in a car park. The driver was there to play padel. They think they entered their number plate in but as it was so long ago they can’t remember. Is there any way to reduce the fee? Or fight it as it is too much to pay
