Thank you both for your input, I appreciate the extra info. I wasn't/aren't holding out much hope, but thought it would be worth a try. I'll wait for an update

Hi, I've parked overnight on Garratt Road in Edgeware on a single yellow line. I parked up at roughly 17:30-18:00 (it was dark at the time) on Saturday 18/01 and left at 9:50 on Sunday 19/01

GSV Here - https://maps.app.goo.gl/4TABR5v7gYCxPQ3m9 - I was parked where the black VW van is, facing the opposite direction

I parked with 2 tyres on the pavement, trying to keep the narrow road clear for cars. I had my mirror tucked in on the images supplied by the council. I am lined up with other vehicles parked in marked bays that protrude onto the pavement. I don't see my vehicle as being any more obtrusive to the footpath than the marked bays.

After reading through similar posts on this forum, I am now aware that parking on the pavement has been banned in London since the 70s (1st time driving in London, from Leeds). However, I was wondering if there was any chance this fine could get canceled due to the reasons mentioned above.
