Civil penalty charge notices (Councils, TFL and so on) / Bus gates
« on: January 14, 2025, 11:52:44 am »
Can someone advise me please.
I recieved a bus gate fine for driving through a bus gate in hull. There is signage but the road markings stating "bus gate" are almost completely faded away. The council rejected my appeal on the basis that while the road markings are faded there are still signs. I cant seem to find much consistency in the legal advice around this. Can someone advise me if the faded away road markings are solid grounds for another appeal to the independent adjudication team or should i just pay the discounted rate and move on ? I would guess road markings are painted for a reason and not just for fun
thanks
