Hello,
What happened
London Borough of Bromley issued a parking charge notice for unpaid parking at its College of Further Education (Sats.), Orpington.
The council only permits payment using RingGo (
https://www.bromley.gov.uk/parking/paying-parking-mobile-phone) and parking was paid for and for the correct duration using RingGo but for a different nearby location (Rear of Templegate House car park).
This was human error but I’ve seen similar cases on this forum that show councils rejecting appeals because the payer specified the wrong location.
How you can help
I haven’t yet appealed in response to the formal letter. Can you advise me on what to say or what to do to increase the likelihood Bromley council will waive this charge?
