Yes basically square one

I'm going to explore the police route.

Re 'arms length' I've provided the sale receipt, road tax, insurance, vc5... Not sure what they want aside from blood

Thank you for the replies. Over the holiday period the bailiffs advised to contact the TEC which I did and as you said, they don't rant to deal with me.

I contacted Haringey council who replied to my proof saying that they won't help as they think the bailiff acted correctly and that 'why wouldn't your brother inform you of outstanding tickets'

They have said I need to contact the baillif to arrange payment to release the vehicle.

So you think I should contact the police?

Yes to all of the above except for documentation from the bailiff.

Haringey gave me pcn number hence why it's on hold.

I have insurance, road tax etc from the day I bought it.

Vc5 came a few days later in my name but have the green slip

I wasn't aware of any unpaid parking tickets.

The bailiff told me the warrant was from Haringey, so I contacted them and they advised me to fill in a te9/7 forms to stop any further action.

I have sent all docs and as was a cash payment sent a reciept. It was from a lot of cash in hand jobs so there isn't a withdrawal.

I recently bought a car from a relative and it was clamped 2 days later.

The bailiffs took the car and have had it for over 2 weeks.

I have sent them all the paper work to prove the car belongs to me and they are dragging their feet getting back to me.

How can I pressurise them to give the car back and can I take them to court for loss of earnings?
