Private parking tickets / Re: Trace letter out of the blue

So, you received a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) a few years ago. You appealed to the operator and subsequently complained to the IPC. Did you also appeal to the IAS?
As for the debt collector letter from Trace, you can ignore that and either use it as kindling or to line the bottom of a litter tray. Never, ever, ever, try and communicate with a powerless debt collector. They cannot do anything.
Have you changed address at any time since you received the PCN and appealed? If so, did you send a Data Rectification Notice to the operator informing them of your new address for service and for them to erase the old address?
Thanks for the reply.
Yes that was my argument; Alliance Parking; at least at the time, required you to declare it via a checkbox as part of the appeals process. I have screenshots of it somewhere and have detailed it in some communication but the problem is at this moment I'd need to dig it all out.
I cannot remember if I appealed to IAS - again I can try to find out but it was just years ago. At this stage do I really need to take these steps and to start to prepare in any way or can I do as you say and just ignore the letters. (And is there a point where i need to take action).
I have not changed address since the PCN was issued.
Thanks
