Hello,
I have received a PCN for parking on concrete spots which I've assumed for years, are used for local resident parking. I've been issued a parking ticket claiming I was parked on the grass verge. There is a small spot along where the parking spot is, that can visibly seen as grass verge with small signage above it, stating no parking on grass verge. But it isn't specific about what is classed as grass verge here. The portion I was parked on, the road has identical spots across multiple different spots along the road which have no restriction signage. These spots are routinely used by residents for parking.
I had responded with an informal appeal regarding the PCN which was refused and I'm still requested to pay up the discounted fee. I've uploaded some photos of the area I was parked on and the "grass verge" spot with signage above it. I've also uploaded the correspondence to my informal dispute. I'm looking to dispute the ticket informally as I can't see how where I was parked, is considered a grass verge, but rather a crisscrossed parking bay as they're in multiple spots across my road with no signage above them. As these spots are located all along the road with no signage on any of them stating that they're grass verges. Also, these spots of been used for years as parking by residents on a consistent, daily basis.
