But isn't it incumbent on motorists to follow road signs?

This is exactly the reason why I am on the fence whether to pursue it or not, and decided to post here. The police would probably say the same thing, that road signs take priority over anything else. The fact that there are no signs at all relating to CPZ hours/restrictions along the whole street is dumb and infuriating, but it's not illegal

Another section of their portal lists Mon-Sun too, which makes it ever more confusing.

My challenge was the following
Quote
I have checked today morning around 10:30-10:40 your official website https://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/site/custom_scripts/repo/pages/cpz/iframe.html which clearly states:

Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)
Greenwich Town Centre (G)
Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm

it still displays the information now. Based on the above, the logical thing to assume is that Sunday is okay to park on a single yellow line. I have got a video recording and screenshots of your website showing this information, therefore I would like to get my PCN cancelled.'

Their response is the following

Hey,

I have received. PCN for parking on a single yellow line on Sunday in Crooms Hill (Greenwich Town centre), I did that based on this map https://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/site/custom_scripts/repo/pages/cpz/iframe.html where it says Greenwich Town Centre's controller hours are Mon-Sat (picture attached).  <br> <br>

My appeal was rejected, saying the zone has got signs at entry points, and I did go there today and indeed the sign says Mon-Sun, it is located a couple of minutes away from where I parked. <br> <br>

Is there any tangible chance to win the case, given the council's own website has got incorrect information? I still have 6 days to pay the reduced fine
