Hello again,

I keep on getting letters from Trace Debt Recovery UK Ltd, threatening to slam me with a CCJ if the penalty remains unpaid. A CCJ is something I try my hardest to avoid.
Any advice?

Dear Hero,

Thank you very much indeed for blanking my info, I posted it in a haste.

And thank you for writing out all the points, should they decide to take it to court,
I shall be back in touch.

Many thanks

It does say vans only on the ground, but the sign says vans and commercial vehicles. The vehicles is registered to my accountants address as it is for the business.

So, Wing Yip wasn't at all interested in their customers being ticketed. Said they can't do anything about it, which I don't believe. I'm sorry it took that long to get back, I couldn't find the ticket, as it was sent to my accountant, who sent me a screenshot of it, which I deleted in error. I have now received another letter and was able to get the images from their website

Private parking tickets / UKPS-Company Registrerd Jeep-Wing Yip Loading Bay
« on: November 05, 2024, 11:15:21 pm »
I parked my jeep that is registered to my wholesale bakery business at the Wing Yip loading bay for 8 minutes to purchase and load 12 bags of salt and sugar, weighing 25kg each. A few days later I received a fine. The marking on the bay says "Vans only" the sign however says "commercial vehicles only". When I challenged UKPS that my vehicle is a commercial vehicle, they said it wasn't registered with DVLA as such. I then told them that neither of my 2 box vans (also registered to the company) are named as commercial in the log book. They then went on to saying that it isn't registered with HMRC as a commercial vehicle. Could someone shed some light here
