Yeah seems like I just need to bite the bullet and do the course. Thanks for all the replies.

It was a standard size Transit van, I was under the (incorrect) impression that they were treated like cars in respect to speed limits, looks like I need to brush up on my highway code!

I have received an NIP from Greater Manchester Police for doing 57 in a 50mph zone on the motorway. Do you think there is any way of getting out of this? They have a copy of the camera calibration on the online portal, but the images of the van from the camera are so bad quality that I cannot make anything out, including the speed displayed on the motorway gantry.

I have a clean license so would probably get the course, but I am sure that I wasn't speeding and was sticking to the displayed speed limits. I was driving a standard size van and as far as I am aware the speed limit for those is the same as cars?

Also I can't use the 14 day time limit to issue the NIP as it was a hire van and they issued the original NIP to the hire company within the 14 days.
