The best way is to send a representation saying you entered the wrong exemption registration. The Scottish's LEZ allows Blue Badge holder to be add onto the exemption registration free of charge but tfl's ULEZ charges admin fee for the exemption.

Thanks for the reply. I believe Daim456 was speaking in relation to the Scottish ulez rules.

So, given that our car is registered in scotland, is simply ignoring charges a viable option? Or will i have to send reply?

So as i have it i have 2 choices:

1. Ignore it completely.

2. Write a begging letter to try get fines quashed.

If i write to them, then they will have an admission, would that not leave me open to debt recovery agencies? Or if they continue would it still be possible to revert to option 1?

Really, it seems like ignoring it altogether is the best and easiest option then no?

Car is indeed registered to our home address in northern scotland. Thats interesting, never thought about the effect of seperate parliaments and jurisdiction.

Do you, or anyone else,  have any more information on that at all?

Yes, very heavily laid on grovelling pretty much goes unsaid  ;D

I just thought it was worth an ask on here as i had some very good advice on pepipoo some years ago regarding cameras in the A9 in scotland. Safe to say the unsigned route is the correct action as has been tested twice now.

Do you folks have a donation page at all, id like to help keep the lights on so to speak, or buy a few coffees/beers

Many thanks for your time.

If i draw something up, would you mind me posting it here first to he checked over before i send?

No, the car is neither in the tax class or modified.

Hi, im looking for advice on possibly challenging these 2 fines. One on way to hotel for visit to chessington world of adventures and one for return home the next day.

We were fully aware of the ulez charges in that area, however, we didnt chose not to pay. My partner had gone online to get exemption as she is a blue badge holder. She thought she had sorted it and we went on our trip only for the first pcn to arrive on our doorstep a few days later. I had her go through her emails etc and we found that she had in fact completed an exemption for our car,  only problem is, it was for scotland and not london ulez 🤦.

In hindsight i should have checked it over myself before we left but as she said it was done i didnt.

Any help or advice greatly received.
