Hi all those that have run the Leahurst Road Lewisham Borough Gauntlet. After being sent a PCN for a 52M infringement and then trying to pay I was told that it was closed and there would be no further action both on the website and when I rang the 0208 number.

Talk about annoyed, as being sent a fine is unhelpful and annoying. To then have it quashed because of some 'who knows what or why' reason is sloppy and indication of a slapdash indiscriminate penalty levy system.

Hi there

I'm new to this site, but recently (last week) received a 52m notice for Leahurst Rd Lewisham (clearly having failed to spot the signage where the alleged offence took place). I've until 30/9 to pay the lesser amount, but have tried tonight (28th September) only to find that it says that it is closed..!! How can this be with an online system with two days to go?

It was also when there was a meltdown with the South Circular being closed.

My offence for reference was on a Saturday at 18.20 - 7/9/24. I only received the letter on Wednesday 25th, despite having notice date of 16th September.

annoyingly I will be in Italy from tomorrow and will have to call from there on Monday morning. Has anyone else had a problem with being unable to pay the fine?
