Thanks for your help!

I did notice the picture evidence showed the PCN on the windscreen that was not there when I returned to the car, but appreciate that's not likely to matter given it's evidenced in the picture.

So should I appeal on the basis the contravention didn't occur on the basis the evidence shows the details were visible?

Yes (assuming you mean on the back of the parking ticket itself). Though I should clarify by upside down I mean the wording still facing outward to the viewer, albeit the wording would appear 180degrees flipped. That's just based on the angle of the photo. It might be their phone that's flipped.

Sorry yes typo on PCN number.

PCN SL80833413

VRN YD61 JMV

I've just looked and the evidence does appear to show the ticket in the window, with details visible (albeit potentially upside down)

Hi all,

I have just received a notice to owner from South Lanarkshire (Scotland) for an alleged contravention of not clearly displaying a valid ticket for pay and display. Uploaded the notice to owner. I did purchase a ticket and still have it - also attached. I can only assume it was displayed correctly as I always put it in the window but haven't seen any evidence as I did not receive a PCN.

So I can prove a ticket exists for the date and time of the alleged contravention. But not that it was displayed correctly as didn't take a picture of windscreen. Assuming this would be on the PCN I haven't received?

I have 6 options for appealling - welcome any advice on how best to proceed.

Ps having a nightmare uploading the pictures here - not working so hopefully the description is enough for a start!

Many thanks in advance!
