Back Story, an old shopping mall with attached car park is under construction, driver was advised some shops were still open so visited after work one day, upon entering the car park the barriers were lifted. Driver parked and looked for an exit quickly realising that actually the centre had completely closed as the footpath exits were closed off/bricked up, driver tried different floors just incase, but returned to car and left, again on exiting the barriers were lifted, driver must have missed the signs, but this was all over in 6 minutes, driver then recieved a parking fine a few weeks later, to which driver was advised could ignore. Driver did and have now received notice of debt recovery.
Any advise is greatly appreciated as driver really feels for 6 minutes (and theyll see on the camera driver wasnt physically able to leave the car park) is a bit excessive
Driver is not the registered keeper of the car, is a spouse, and named driver.
