If so, they should have a very good chance if they appeal to POPLA. This should be slightly more detailed, leading the assessor to exactly why MET's notice is non-compliant, and that the appeal should be upheld. In answer to your question, Yes, The appeal was submitted exactly as per your instruction and as the keeper.

@b789 - The appeal was exactly as the template/example given by DWMB2 (nothing more or less).

I Will now have a look at some of the example appeals sent to POPLA and post here the appeal first for your thoughts.

Update. The registered keeper received the letter below. They are now asking what would be the next step.
They were looking to pay the fine, as they are worried about losing the appeal and paying the full amount owed.

Hello, I can confirm that the person im helping is the registered keeper and has the Logbook in their name.

This is fantastic....Sooo thankful for the letter and the information. Will update once i hear how the keeper got on.

On entering the Car park, the Driver parked in the bay and was going to get food with the family (inside the premises). The disabled member of the family was in the vehicle but changed their mind and therefore they decided to get a takeaway instead.

The driver went to get the food, and forgot to put the badge on display.

The driver was not longer than 10mins. Got the food and left.

Then received the following fine.







I am a friend of the Registered keeper who has asked to help.
