I would like to respond and thank Philip.

He has offered his help to represent me. He voluntarily jumped on a lot of calls with me and had taken care of the legal side of going to Tribunal.

They must've noticed his name on the case just got scared, so they cancelled it :D.

This was definitely stressful to go through for me and I am glad there are people who have our, common people's back.

I am sure with this push back council's will stop taking the **** one day.

Thank you again.

This is such a hassle. They should be mandated to pay out compensations. I'm not being greedy, but maybe that'd stop them.

Also, is it better to attend in person or it doesn't really matter?
I will try to catch every gotcha and document it.

Any tricks? Dos? Don'ts?

Hi All,

Sorry, I just noticed the last comments.

So, they did reject it. I got upset but yes, I took your advice and stepped back. I was actually expecting this to happen. But their reasoning is stupid.

This stresses me out and causes a lot of inconvenience. Do they eventually get penalised for this?

Do I just produce same reasoning to the court, because the judge will be of more sound mind or do I actually need a solicitor now?

Also, that car in the photographs isn't mine. Mine is only in the video. Clearly no roof rack. I mean how blind do you have to be?

That is a good point to mention the lack sign.
Thank you so much!

That is what I thought.
Thank you so much for sanity checking.

Sorry, another silly question. Do I need to spend on a very formal and legally correct response or I just highlight the fact they hadn't checked it and they should cancel it?

Thanks for your response.

Please find the PCN page attached.
It's not even my car in the pic.

Hi everyone,

I think I might finally have a ticket that is an easy win, but I need to sanity check.

I was driving on Union Street in Southwark and I was driving from Southwark Bridge Road towards Borough High Street, so I was going in the right direction. However, I stopped and I did a parallel park which included reversing into a parking spot. I got a ticket that I drove into NO ENTRY.

I just reversed, so the camera just activated, since theoretically I was moving in the wrong direction.

Here is the link: https://pcnevidence.southwarkparking.co.uk/pcnonline/liberatorImageProxyRaw.php?noderef=workspace%3A%2F%2FSpacesStore%2F929498bb-c18f-414e-9573-9debd1155e29&mimetype=video%2Fmp4

My car is only in the video. The actual pictures of a completely different car just driving in front of me.

There should not be a ticket, right? I mean it's very obvious to me that there shouldn't.

Are tickets not verified by a human before posting?

Ok, thank you and I think I understand. However, the ticket wasn’t fixed to the vehicle.

I just believe the CEO started to issue the PCN after I departed.

Also, I don’t have a permit there.

Thank you for all your replies.

Let me address the details concern first. Here is the exact spot by the tree: https://maps.app.goo.gl/JfNGxBkE3oBYjf2o8?g_st=ic .

I don’t remember the time I arrived.

I did see the CEO after I got in and started the car. He was behind a tree. He came out and shouted and said that I need to wait because he needs to prepare the ticket. I said you didn’t serve it in time and I drove off.

I think there might be a slim chance he had started preparing it after I left.

Would that make any difference if I didn’t see him?

Hi everyone!

I have appealed many PCNs in the past, but unsuccessfully. I was really trying my luck back then. Now however, I think I have really got a case.

I was issued a PCN by an officer by post. This is because they didn’t manage to put it on my car in time. I also think the grace period is 10mins (not sure) and both pics of the car, were taken at 13:35 and the PCN was issued at 13:43.

The letter says the car was observed from 13:43 to 13:43.

Is there anything I can use to appeal this? I might have failed at appealing before due to lack of knowledge of law and good wording. Could someone help me please?
