Hi there,

Just to add an update, we had a message today from NCP to say that they are accepting the appeal.

I copied and pasted the letter as recommended on the forum.

Hi there,

Hoping that you can assist with a parking fine received recently.

My wife is the keeper of the vehicle so the notice was sent to her after the incident.

My wife had travelled up to London from Chelmsford, and the driver of the vehicle was picking her up from the station. The time was very late, 11.30pm, and the station was empty. There is a parking area to the front of the station that used to be for drop-off and collection but has changed to disable only. It is poorly lit and the signage is small and hard to see. The markings on the parking bays are also faded.

The parking area was empty with no other vehicles. The driver parked up for 7 minutes in one of the parking bays, collected my wife and left.

One of the points stated in the attached letter is that the max stay was exceed, however there is nothing on the signage to state what the max stay is.
