Hi guys has anyone had any issues with formal reps on the Newham website for me it keeps telling me to contact the council by phone my last day to send reps is tomorrow i left it late as i forgot all about it.

thank you john sorry for the late reply iv been busy with work i am going to try and use another laptop and see if that might fix the issue i have also written this response.

Having reviewed the photographs, I took, it is clear that there was no suspension sign present in the bay in which I was parked. The bay behind my vehicle is shown as suspended however, there was no corresponding sign indicating that the bay I was parked in was also suspended. A reasonable motorist would conclude that, in the absence of any signage at that bay, it was not subject to suspension. On this basis, the restriction was not adequately signed, and the PCN has therefore been issued incorrectly and should be cancelled.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I believe that no contravention occurred because the relevant parking restriction signage was not displayed in the bay where my vehicle was parked.
As you are aware, for a parking restriction to be enforceable, the council must ensure that adequate and clear signage is installed within or adjacent to the exact bay where the restriction applies. If signage is absent, obscured, or placed in a different bay, motorists cannot be reasonably expected to comply with restrictions that are not properly communicated.
Given that no valid signage was displayed in the bay, the restriction was not clearly conveyed, and therefore the alleged contravention cannot be enforced.
I kindly request that you review this evidence and cancel the PCN. Should you require any further information or photographs, I will be happy to provide them.

Good Morning all I have received a pcn from Newham council but there weren't any signs up where i parked my van the night before I've attached my pictures but right now newham council are yet to upload there ones any help would be appreciated.
