I wouldn't be worried but it may show up when entering the Schengen area.

Does the large NIP say anything about naming the driver or court?

They don't accept appeals. No money in that.

They will send a POPLA code and you can try your luck there.

Typical POPLA nonsense. Wait for the letter before claim.

Just saw this on the BBC News. Could someone reach out to her and see if the situation can be recovered?

You should have appealed the tickets.

They often get things wrong and you could have won if you had came here earlier.

Correct. The vehicle is covered and not the driver. Anyone can drive so long as they are not banned.

Just want to clear a few matters up. I live in Bulgaria from time to time and have a car there.

Firstly, there is no such thing as an insurance certificate that we would be used to. All there is is an insurance coupon with the expiry date punched out. The only information on it is the VRM and policy number. This card however is only valid in Bulgaria and is in the Bulgarian language only. For use abroad a green card is necessary and is issued free of charge every year with your insurance.I can't understand why the drivers did not produce their green card unless they were trying to avoid liability.

Also Bulgarian driving licences have the name of the town/village where the holder is. In a big town/city this would be useless in tracking someone down but in a small village that would be enough to find someone. You should really be asking them for their identity card as that contains their full address.

What exactly is the problem with using the SJP for train evasion prosecutions?
