Whilst travelling down south with work, we met up with a few colleagues at Hayes & Harlington Station to head into London. I pulled into what I thought was an underground carpark that seemed to be privately owned, so turned round and one of my colleagues jumped out and walked outside to those spaces to read the small print on the sign to see if we could park there. It mentioned it was 20 minutes max, so he jumped in and we drove out to find the correct car park which was just over the railway lines. As soon as he jumped in a man stood in front of my car and took a photo, in leaving that area I saw a sign saying no drop off/pick up. I have now received a Parking Charge Notice for what it says is "Parking within a restricted area", it doesn't mentioned drop off/pick up, I did not park in the space, and I didn't get out of the car. The time given is also incorrect stating "15:59", I was still at work in the office 30 minutes drive away at that time, and I'm guessing it was maybe and hour out. Can I contest this with the inaccurate time/description?
