I got one for my car a year or so ago, in my case the ANPR misread a Y as a V. Despite it asking for Ł2.50 only, I called them, they took a bit of persuading to check but eventually came back with a cancel.In your case replacing the V with a Y comes back as no reg.Call them, they can access better pics, and they were pleasant enough to deal with.

Go for it, but I have to say the difference between the spoken Welsh we use up here in the north is a million miles from anything written for legal or semi-legal needs. (compare street English and what's in the Bible). I'd use English myself for something 'important'.Certainly happy to translate but wouldn't it end up in a Welsh-language tribunal hearing?

As a fluent Welsh speaker, I have always understood the word "trwydded" as "licence", not "permit" Permit is "caniatad". Regardless of the English displayed, I would always read the Welsh first as it's the first on the sign, and it would mean, to me, "disabled badge holders with a licence only".

I followed the advice of incandescent (I originally saw the phone number but assumed it was an automated payment line only).Operator at first insisted it was my car, it looked like my car, etc. When I pointed out what I read the VRN as, I was put in hold for a good 15 mins, and returned with "I've blown up the photos and it's not that clear and could be either" but has cancelled the PCN and offered "apologies for the error"By apologising for an error that they hadn't admitted happened implies to me that it was indeed a read error.I've checked the gov website and my vehicle now has no PCN against it (and neither does the other reg)@cp8759 do you still need the PCN No.?Thanks again
