im sorry to read this, but thank you for info and guidance.
Clearly I havent understood the process, and feel a bit mislead by what TFL staff informed me on the phone with things being put on hold, and not given a clear indication of how long it would take a DVD to be sent/recieved.

I take it, the fact that no CEO was present to lay the PCN at the time of the alleged incident, is not worth anything either way then. it was just a posted (which i did recieve funnily enough!)

Cheers anyway.

Hi I was told on 2 seperate occasions by 2 different people at TFL Red Routes telephone line, that requesting DVD footgae DOES put the case on hold. ive also seen it posted on this forum by some people (possibly yourself?) that requesting DVD footage also puts the case on hold.

Representation cant be made if the evidence is not perceivced to be clear nor actually recieved, right?  its only just been recieved by me recently for my consideration.

And i beleive it was you or one of your admins who has previously suggested to write to TFL requesting info on the cameras that are used on a road with the alleged contravention.

With that in mind, what do you advise? what is the request for the camera model info for, and are they obliged to provide it?

Thanks for your help!

Okay thank you.

The Below link, is the video they sent me. I left the red route box just 6mins past 4pm. (i think its 10am-4pm allowed parking), however i was a customer in the barbershop, thats right in front of where my car was parked. there was no CEO present. just this extremely distant CCTV.

Hi All,

After not recieivng the DVD of video footage of an alleged overstay in red routes street parking (by 4 minutes just), after 2 seperate phone requests, I have now finally recieved it at the third attempt about 3 days ago.  I thought the case would remain paused until i've had a fair chance to look at the evidence, but speaking to somebody there on the phone 2 weeks ago to make the request, they confirmed the PCN charge had since risen.

Anyway, after looking around at other sugestions and avice on here, I saw that somebody posted a quote to write in a letter/email, that I request to know from TFL what cameras they use and evidence of it (please see below)

Dear Transport for London,

There is a CCTV camera outside 85-87 Lee High Rd, London, SE13 5NS, which is visible here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/BEtciGcRnDnAudxM8

I would like to know the make and model of this camera. Please also provide any documentation confirming the make and model of the camera.

Yours faithfully,

After attempting 2 diferent TFL emails addresses with no luck (even though they werent bounced back!)  i have sent this request on the TFL website online form 3 weeks ago. I still havent recieved a response.

I dont trust the postal mail , as its slower and things are not reliably being deleivered as had been prioved, and i cant afford to repeatedly pay £5 per signed for delivery for each correspondance which could mount up, making this fight for justice not worth it.

The TFL person on the phone i spoke to last has said there is only 14 days from them sending the letter (not helpful if it takes 6 months to arrive), for me to make represensations. However, i dont wat to make a representation until ive found out (and shared with you) the cameras they used on the street in question. Lee HIgh Road, in London.

what do i do in the next 4 days i have left frmo them to make a representation, so that the fine doesnt keep rising. (I did intially request the DVD footage within the first 30 days) can any experts please advise?

ALso if thety do reveal what cameras were used../ what do i do with that info? itll mean nothing to me.

Thanks,

Ninja Turtle

Hello,

Does anybody happen to have a contact  email address for TFL's parking services please? They claim they have sent a DVD out of video footage of an incident, but i have not recieved it. I also have some other questions. It could feasibly go back and forth, so i would prefer to email for the following reasons:

1) email is quicker
2) it is likely more reliable, as i already havent recieved some correspondence from them, which they claimed was sent in December.
3) i dont have a home printer
4) snail mail is not cheap these days. multiple letters of correspondance could rack up expense, which is ultimately the reason why im taking the time to appeal.

I did speak to somebody on the phone at TFL, who claimed there was no contact email address.

i'm not convinced this is true, so if anybody has ever had an email correrspondance from TFL, please forward me the relevant email address.

Many thanks   :)
