Civil penalty charge notices (Councils, TFL and so on) / Road tax

Hi All,
I'm sorry as this is something a bit different but I'm trying to get some help from anyone if possible. I have a fine from 'Advantis' as I haven't paid a road tax. I fully understand this is my responsibility but the only reason I haven't paid that is just because I did not receive a reminder. This is due to a different address on V5C document which states the number 52 instead of 32. I'm sure it was a typo but this could be surely paid if I had a reminder. I know it's a long shot but is there anything I can do to avoid the penalty?
FYI
Due to the font and quality of the document it took me a while to find that issue. I have a new V5C with the correct address now and connected with my mobile
