TFL Yellow Box fine Oval Stn
« on: July 18, 2023, 12:11:12 am »

Hello everyone, just want to get your views and opinions.

My dad works for a school meal delivery company and he received a letter from the company he works for on friday 14th July regarding a yellow box PCN at the Oval station junction. He told me that he was on his normal run travelling in the direction of camberwell new road towards the cricket ground but as he crossed the junction the traffic lights next to the station turned red and so he was left with the back of his van over the yellow box.

The incident occurred on the 30/06/23 the company received the notice on 05/07/23 and only notified him on the 14th as can be seen from the letter in the link.

When i looked at the contavention evidence on TFLs website there are only 3 photos but no video.

Also I noticed that the PCN has already been paid by the company but they have given him 3 working days to appeal the letter he received from them.

They have done this a few times in the past to my dad, and i thought that this time i would not let them get away with it that easily as they didn't t even consider the fact that he is retiring at the end of this week.

So if you guys think there is any way i could tackle this i would value your advice.

The first step is to call TFL and ask for the video. They should be able to send you a DVD in the post.
