I received a TFL PENALTY CHARGE VIA CCTV
Contravention code and description;46 stopped where prohibited (on a red route )

Location :west kerb Meath street sw11

I received a TfL charge but it came through the post , I responded back with my appeal however it was denied I’ve received the following letters but I haven’t responded back to the notice of appeal and it’s been over due to respond. I’m I better of just paying the £240 since i haven’t responded in so long.

My grounds of appeal was medical I have a disability but they said this does not count, the reason for leaving it again so long is because I don’t have the assistance to appeal professionally.

If anyone can message me privately to help me out I’d greatly appreciate it.

When was the Notice of Rejection?

and why have you obscured so many details from notices? It impedes anyone wishing to help you

Sorry, yes, you're right.

This is a different case

The reason I removed or obscured the time stamps and my number plate is due to protection of my details . I saw other people doing the same thing . I’m also new to this I’m still learning .

I’m happy to upload the information again what information was scribbled out that you would like to see ?

Date of notice of rejection was 17/01/2024

You needed to submit an appeal for this one over a month ago.
The tribunal will sometimes agree to hear late appeals, in certain circumstances, but I think that is too long in this case.
You need to pay the £240 imo.

I agree, such a delay would require something truly compelling like being hospitalised. Simply not getting round to it is not going to be accepted as a valid reason for such a long delay.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.
