The LA is London Borough of Barnet - Dersingham Road, Cricklewood NW2, new signs saying half of Dersingham Road is restricted to cars from 8.15am and Caddington Road. I drove down Dersingham Road without spotting the new signs.
Contravention was on 27/6, Date of notice 8/7. I'm not sure whether the envelope is postmarked, will check when I get home.
Here's the location on Google:

Hi All,
I've received a PCN for driving down a road with new restrictions. I've been driving the same way to work pretty much for the past ten years, usually going down one road but occasionally the road next to it. Last week I almost drove down the road I go down less often, noticed the new restriction signs, stopped in the middle of the road as it was a bit confusing as there were two new signs for two perpendicular roads, turned around and went the other way. I'd obviously gone down this road the week before without spotting the signs.
The letter also arrived 14 days after the issue date. Surely this isn't acceptable?
Are there any grounds on which I can appeal? I really can't afford this, especially if I can't even pay the reduced amount because it arrived so late. Does the council have a responsibility to offer a repayment plan?
TIA
