Southwark PCN x2 - appeal rejected
« on: »
Hi Everyone,

I started on FB, but a bit of background is that I prked on this street in Southwark which I thought was pay and display but was actually a residents bay and ended up getting 2x tickets whilst there.

They put contravention code 19 which is "parked in a residents or shared use bay with an invalid virtual permit...." I appealed saying that basically they should have issued it under code 16 which was "parked in a permit space or zone without a valid permit where required"

Southwark came back and said that as i actually have a Southwark parking permit for a different zone that the initial code is correct.

Their response is flimsey and neither here nor there and I wish to appeal. I've received the below, please can someone advise me on the next steps?

Thanks and kind regards

The image you posted seems to be one page of a Notice to Owner. Please post up the remaining pages. Just redact your name & address and leave everything else visible.

Do you have one or two Notice to Owners? One for each PCN. If you have another then please post up the first page of the 2nd NTO.

P:lease post up all pages of the rejection notice(s) that you received.

Was the car moved at all between the two on-street PCNs?

You originally posted two PCNs, JK10724773 and JK10725390, you've only posted the representations page of the NTO for JK10725390.

The Southwark website tells me both are at the NTO stage, please post up the first page of both NTOs, please see the instruction here for how to post images.

Here are the council photos:

Hiya,

Thanks for your response. The car wasn’t moved. I parked there from 7/8pm on Saturday and moved it Sunday night at c11pm.

Southwark also only sent me one NTO and not two. I will upload everything when I get home this afternoon.

Kind regards,

They never sent me the NTO for the second one and I only found out it had been denied when I went onto the website to find out the status. Any advise pls? Thanks

It really is important we have all the necessary information to help you as this council is very thorough.  For example, when they resist appeals, they send representatives in person to the Tribunal.
IF YOU RECEIVE A MOVING TRAFFIC PCN PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A REPRESENTATION:

How do we get more people to fight their PCNs?

@DA8212 you need to post the formal notice of rejection please, all sides of all pages.
And also all of the pages of the Notice to Owner, that you did receive. Instructions can be found on the Read This First sticky post at the top of the forum.

And please post up the text of your informal representations (challenge) to the Council.
