Hi Bob,

Received my penalty charge notice today in exactly the same spot. I didn't see a sign anywhere, and I believe even if I had I wouldn't have been able to turn back and avoid the charge (but at least I'd have known about it).

I'll follow your thread with interest to see how you get on. My 14 days is from today so hopefully you'll have a reply soon enough.

To be honest, if I felt I'd genuinely messed up I'd just pay the fine but I didn't see a single sign at any point. Having driven in London and Birmingham only last week it's so much simpler and avoidable, this all feels a little underhand!

Please update when you can.
