PCN Sandwell bus lane - entered at end of bus lane
« on: »
Hi Guys. First time posting here so hope I've understood the rules.

There is a bus lane  in Sandwell. I did not use this bus lane. I entered it at the end and I got a ticket.  I visited the road again and saw the camera right at the end of the bus lane. Is there any chance to appeal this successfully as I clearly wasn't using the bus lane and only entered at the end . Many thanks in advance

We really need to see the video to see what distance you were in the buslane. I had a quick look on their website and couldn't find any link to it. You might phone and ask them, as that is their sole evidence.

The video shows you already partway into the bus lane as you follow the bus. Only part of the car need be in the bus lane for a contravention. Certainly it doesn't look like de minimis would apply

However, looking on GSV to see where this is, I would be strongly tempted to appeal on 'vague locus', because Hagley Road West is very long and the PCN does not sufficiently describe the location of the alleged contravention.
