PCN during restricted hours
« on: »
Hi.  I am a landlord and I was visiting my property to get it ready for tenants moving in the following day.  I have received a PCN as I entered the road during restricted hours.  Do you think I’ll be able to challenge this?  Many thanks.

For meaningful advice please to have a read of
https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/

and post up here all sides of the PCN (redact only yr name & address, leave everything else in) and a GSV link to the location.

Hi.  Thanks for getting back to me!  The GSV is https://maps.app.goo.gl/tESLGmoh1VjsW5qTA?g_st=ic.  And the PCN docs are here https://imgur.com/a/pcn-xNEz66O

Looks like you were turning right into it - turning left can be a factor.

We'll check tribunal cases and PCN.

Add the location to the thread title.

There are restricted times on the sign, but also something else. It is too small to read on the posted video, but might be for resident permit holders. So are you, as a landlord, a permit holder ?

No unfortunately not.

You can see the sign  better here. https://www.google.com/maps/@51.4542496,0.0117601,3a,90.000000y,272.350067h,85.492569t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sgjE6eftCnV4f5Gs6cfkwWQ!2e0?lucs=,94242502,94224825,94227247,94227248,47071704,47069508,94218641,94203019,47084304,94208458,94208447&g_st=ic
Thanks.
Landlord isn't a permit holder so unless the TRO exempts property owners, there doesn't seem to be much to counter the alleged contravention itself. However there may be a technical appeal based on their adherence to the relevant regulations.
