Parked in marked bay, Broad Street, Nottingham (
https://maps.app.goo.gl/6Rz9MpDu1F32dAtS9) at around 6.20 pm, 19th November 2024 - sign said parking 8am to 10pm, made payment by Ringo asking for two hours (£5.80)
Returned at 8.20 pm to find PCN
Photos of PCN, car in space, position of sign in relation to car, close up of sign:
https://www.dropbox.com/sc/byoe2glmkjhkmyh/AAAxnYkIPoAaguT8SFC1qdMSaLooked at sign again
Sign over parking sign said 'no waiting 8pm to 8am'
It looked liked the area saying parking 8pm to 10pm had, at some point, had a label put over but part pulled off to 're-reveal '10pm'. Possible this label had said 8am to 8pm?
Checked Ringgo - noticed that the parking ran out at 8.00pm even though I had requested 2 hours at 6.20
Question is then do I have a case for dismissal on the grounds of damaged / contradictory signage
Your advice - whichever way - is much appreciated
