Hi
I have just received a PCN for my car apparently driving in a bus lane.
I watched the video clearly had no idea as didn't see signs, the car in front dramatically slowed down and had to move to the left lane, just at last bit of white line, where the buslane supposed to have ended.

I have seen few threads around the same spot, in the video there is no sign on end of buslane either or any sign showing the buslane.

I have attached a copy of the PCN, since I only just got back from holiday and saw the letter, I have made an appeal using this notes from the link below.

You've blanked out too much.  We need to see PCN Number and car reg, so we can view the video, which is the sole evidence.

There is also a technical appeal available if you take them to London Tribunals, but I'll let Hippocrates explain it. As this is Havering, they will not re-offer the discount if you submit reps, so it's either pay-up, or take them all the way to London Tribunals, because the penalty remains the same.

OK. Well, the video shows a clear contravention assuming all the signs are in position.

So what happened here ? Why did you "have to move" to the left lane.

The car ahead slowed down dramatically for no reason, had to move out of the way otherwise slam on the breaks.

Do not pay it. Back later.
@Incandescent!

I AM ABLE TO TAKE ON MORE CASES AS A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE LONDON TRIBUNALS. I HATE RETIREMENT.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.
