Free Traffic Legal Advice

Hello,

I parked in what seems to be a restricted parking bay this morning on The Broadway, N8 and was wondering if I have any chance of appealing this. I must have left the car unattended for 4 minutes and came back to a ticket. I had just chanced parking there and probably don't have a chance at appealing but thought I'd ask. The signature box is unsigned, and the colour of my car is incorrect.

Reading your narrative it seems to me that basically, you chanced your arm hoping a CEO wouldn't pass by in the short time you were parked, but lost. Frankly, contraventions like yours are very difficult to overturn based on the contravention, but sometimes there can be a 'technical' appeal based on council mismanagement of the enforcement process that has nothing to do with the contravention itself. If our expert sees something, I'm sure he'll be along soon.
