Hello everyone,

Please may you help me with appealing this ticket. I had no idea there were restrictions on slough lane. I came from Old Kenton Lane which has a sign just before the pub but it's a bit misleading as it could mean that the restrictions apply to the road on the right and not ahead.

At the junction there is a sign straight ahead on the other side but it is difficult to see this from where I was and plus the road was full of traffic. You are also not allowed to turn left and then right so the only way I can get home is by taking this junction. The other alternative is to drive out of the way and then do a U turn.

I think this is an unfair ticket and the imagery is shocking. I have requested for the video evidence.

Please post a GSV link (not screenshot) to the location.

yes that's it , I was on the road where green man pub is

Had you been coming straight from Slough Lane past the Green Man there is an unusual  red advance warning sign

Coming from Old Kenton Lane I couldn't see an advance sign but GSV is Jun 2021.

There have been problems with this sign

but has been fixed and I assume it still is?.

REading this thread again I am still not sure whether you turned right from Old Kenton Lane into Slough Lane or as per you post's title came From Slough Lane into Old Kentoon LaNE.

Please check the Council's website for the photos they should have placed there and post them here.

I entered Slough lane by turning right from Old Kenton lane, the signage is definitely not clear and impossible to see from the angle at the junction.

Do I have a case here?

The PCN is well-confusing as it tells you (correctly) to pay 28 days from the date of the notice and then contradicts this by stating the date of service.  So, this heavily implies you have another couple of days.  There have been 2 such PCNs on pepipoo recently.
IF YOU RECEIVE A MOVING TRAFFIC PCN PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A REPRESENTATION:

How do we get more people to fight their PCNs?

Video:

The Brent (Prescribed Routes) (Pedestrian & Cycle Zone) (No. 24) Traffic Order 2022.

The ambiguous wording about the payment deadline is one arguable point, and the red advance warning sign is illegal (contrary to popular belief, advance warning signs are prescribed by the TSRGD). Is that sign still there, can you check and get a photo?

Also, according to the traffic order:

"prescribed street" means that length of Slough Lane, between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 93 and 95 Slough Lane and a point 12.00 metres north-east of a point opposite the common-boundary of Nos. 144 and 148 Slough Lane, and the entire length of Woodland Close;

I'm not convinced the sign is positioned where it's meant to be:

It should be right across this drive.

Could you go back and measure the distance from the boundary of the two properties on the right, and the pole on the left?. If using a tape measure make sure to keep it parallel to the kerb.

I can't get over the great stream of vehicles emerging from the prohibited street. Either they're all claiming one of the exemptions, or LBB got very rich that day....

I measured the distance and it is definitely not 2m! It was around 1.6ish

Sorry what distance did you measure? Have you taken photos of the measurements?
