Hi,

I used a loading bay in Crewe while loading around the corner at EE.

I was loading a medium sized colour printer https://www.lexmark.com/en_gb/printer/7777/Lexmark-CX510de that needed a sack truck to move it it's 25+ kg's

In the 9 mins it took to go to the shop and find out it was not needed (customer caused damage to original) i was given a ticket for not loading while in a loading bay.

I have appealed the ticket with proof of my job but have been told it does not prove what i was loading. Unfortunately as this was a service call not a delivery i have no invoice etc and to top it off it's taken almost a week for royal mail to get the letter to me!!

This is the PCN  and the letter they sent in reply to my

not sure if it helps but the times on the letter are incorrect compared to the times on the PCN

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Show us the rest of the rejection letter, give us the address of the shop (we need to work out what a reasonable time would be to walk back and forth), and also exactly what you did during the nine minutes. By that I literally mean a minute by minute account because loading has a very specific legal meaning and while you can take as long as is necessary (subject to any maximum time limit), you are not allowed a second more.

Also, is it your vehicle or does it belong to your employer?
