I received a Penalty Charge Notice for contravention 165 this afternoon, issued by a Newham parking officer for allegedly parking in a disabled bay. There were no disabled bay markings or signage on the pole. As a resident of this street, I am familiar with all the disabled bays. Could you please assist me with this matter? What is the legislation regarding disabled bays with signs or road markings? I would appreciate your help in drafting an appeal.

I successfully appealed the Penalty Charge Notice without assistance from this forum. Newham subsequently canceled the PCN due to insufficient signage.
