I've dealt with a number of Bexley PCNs over the past day and I've not had any problems either. Please give us the PCN number and number plate and I'll have a look.

Thank you for the offer, though I have now received a confirmation of receipt in response to my appeal via email.

PCN Appeal rejected.
Attached is the rejection letter to https://photos.app.goo.gl/K7Mm2cYg6GR6n5K46

I am now waiting for NTO, am I right?

A nonsense rejection - assisted alighting is an exemption and they have to deal with it on that basis (whether it qualifies or not).

Right.
@Incandescent!

I AM ABLE TO TAKE ON ANY MORE CASES AS A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE LONDON TRIBUNALS. I HATE RETIREMENT.

If you do not challenge, you join "The Mugged Club".

cp8759 and mrmustard are true geniuses. I know my place in the hierarchy of The Three Musketeers. 😊 "The Clinician", "The Gentleman" and "The Showman"

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

Can I learn the advice at this point, please?

@cesur. I think cp is best placed to do this one if he agrees?

I would repeat your informal challenge and preface with:

I invite you to reconsider my initial challenge in that, contrary to your assertion of contravening parking regulations, assisted alighting of a vulnerable person (in this case our young child) is an exemption to the no waiting restriction, as you should well know.

To recap:

....

There are plenty of tribunal cases on this should it come to it.

To update the forum, the Council has cancelled this PCN + another (issued on the same road, double yellow line).
I've updated https://photos.app.goo.gl/K7Mm2cYg6GR6n5K46 with the council letter for reference.

Thanks for your support!
